Location
The competition area is located at the Hakunila Sports Park in Vantaa (Street address: Luotikuja 2, 01200 Vantaa, see maps).
Race program
- Friday 2 Jan 2026: Sprint 1.3 km (F+M, classic style)
- Saturday 3 Jan 2026: Distance 20 km (F+M, classic style, individual start)
- Sunday 4 Jan 2026: Distance 10 km (F+M, free style, individual start)

Communication
Information about the competition will be provided via the competition websites (these pages). Changes to the competition will also be announced at the team leaders’ meetings as follows:
- Thursday 1 Jan 2026 at PM 6:00
- Friday 2 Jan 2026 at PM 6:00
- Saturday 3 Jan 2026 at PM 6:00
The team leaders’ meeting will be kept in the competition’s communications and media center (Sotunki school auditorium, entrance from the door on the swimming pool side). Race information will be shared in dedicated Whatsapp group. Remember to join!

Accreditation
An accreditation card or race number vest will be used as the athlete’s accreditation. You can pich up them from the competition office after your competition fee is paid and the receipt is shown to the officials.
The accreditation cards are used to accredit assistants and other team members . Assistants can be accredited to the competition as follows:
- For teams: 1 assistant for every three athletes. Eg.
- the team has 2 athletes –> 1 assistant can be accredited to the team
- the team has 5 athletes –> 2 assistants can be accredited to the team
- the team has 10 athletes –> 4 assistants can be accredited to the team
- For individual athletes (not a team): 1 assistant
The assistant cards are picked up from the competition office. Always keep the accreditation card on hand when moving around the competition area.

- fluoride testing stickers (only for skis used in competition)
- accreditation cards for athletes and assistants

Transponders
Transponders will be distributed in the Competition office together with other competition materials (see the competition office section)
Fluorine testing
Fluorine testing will be organized during the competitions, the arrangements for which will be announced in more detail at the team leaders’ meeting.
Competition courses
The competition courses are located at Hakunila Sports Park (Luotikuja 2, 02100 Vantaa.) The start and finish are at the stadium. See the course maps here!
Changes
The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the competition courses, schedules or cancel the competition completely due to weather and track conditions or other so-called Force Major situations.

Prizes
The top three finishers in each competition will be awarded (3 competition days, women’s and men’s categories: 6 competitions in total). The prizes are as follows:
- Winner: first prize €600
- Second place: prize €400
- Third place: prize €200
The prizes will be distributed at the competition center (stadium) immediately after the competitions.
Waxing service facilities and parking space reservations
At the competition site you can reserve a waxing facility (container) for your team or alternatively bring your own mobile facilitity (service truck). Services and price information below:
- Waxing container €1,000 / unit
- Parking space and electricity for a service truck €300 / unit
- Parking space and electricity for a motorhome or camping van €150 / unit
- Prices showed above are valid during the competition event (Thu 1 Jan – Sun 4 Jan 2026)
Waxing containers and parking spaces for service trucks can be reserved until 15 Dec 2025. Parking spaces for motorhomes can be reserved until 30 Dec 2025. There are limited spaces for service trucks and motorhomes and they can be reserved as long as space is available.
Parking permits for the above mentioned can be picked up from the competition office.

Arrival and parking
The competition site will be signposted and traffic controlled. There is a parking space reserved for competitors. Find out about arrival at the site and competitor parking here!
Photo- and videography
By participating in the competition, you agree that Vantaa Ski Club and its partners may publish photos taken from the competitions for marketing purposes.
Rules
The competition rules of the FIS and the Finnish Ski Association are followed. The competition jury, authorities and the Finnish Ski Association may issue new instructions before or during the competition. Updated information will be published on this page or at the team captain’ meetings and in its materials. Competitors are responsible for monitoring and complying with publications related to the competition rules.
